Previously known as Inter Alia, the Durham Law Review (DLR) has been in existence since 1992. Over the years, DLR has become recognised as a legal journal that aims to stimulate lively discussion and debate on topical legal, social, and political issues. DLR publishes an annual hard and soft copy journal with contributions from students, leading academics, and practitioners whose entries provide exceptional scholarship across all areas of the law. DLR also issues weekly feature articles and shares daily updates on developments in the legal and commercial press.
The Durham Law Review aims to reflect a longstanding principle of the review: excellence in scholarship, whether written by a student, professor, or professional. This year sees the introduction of a new website and a blog section within the review. Undergraduate and postgraduate students will have the opportunity to share their opinion on a selected topic, where the most compelling piece will be published on the website.
